The Moon Festival Spectacular at the world famous Santa Anita Park is a two-daylong celebration of traditional Chinese and Asian heritage that include arts, music, food, and many other activities.
The traditions and myths surrounding the festival are formed around the concepts of gathering, thanksgiving, and well-being.

Event Features

Tea Garden Delight
Sip Tea and Relax in a decorated tea garden. Enjoy the traditional musical instrument Guzheng and watch gorgeous lanterns float in the mid-autumn night.

Moon Palace Photo
Visitors are invited to wear traditional colorful costumes and take photos with Ms. Moon & Jade Rabbit at the specially decorated moon palace.

Lantern Festival
Thousands of lanterns will be hanging throughout the event venue, lighting up the large outdoor Mid-Autumn Lantern Festival.

Kids Happy Pavilion
DIY classroom. Color painting on lanterns, umbrellas and fans. Traditional handicraft "shadow play." Designated fun area for kids and families.
